Auditorium Renovation

Planned for Fall 2025

Stage 212's Jim Jewell Auditorium is scheduled for some much needed updating. Plans include:

  • Replacing seating

  • Removing existing acoustic wall fabric and replacing with acoustic sound panels

  • Replacing ceiling tiles

  • Removing the existing Sound Booth

  • Updating Sound Equipment and Speakers

  • Modifying HVAC for better efficiency

  • New Main Curtains

  • New carpeting

Fundraising Efforts

We have several ongoing efforts to raise the funds necessary for our planned renovation, which include special events and raffles. Direct donations are also accepted both at the theatre and online. Raffles

For this raffle, participants that buy tickets will have the choice of choosing a number between 1-100. Once all 100 tickets have been sold, we will draw a winner within 24 hours live on our Facebook page and the lucky winner will receive $1,000!

We’re excited to partner with Fire on 5th for a Queen of Hearts Raffle. A Queen of Hearts raffle utilizes a standard deck of playing cards, including two jokers, and each card is sealed face down to a board. Once a week, one winner will have their selected card drawn in hopes of revealing the Queen of Hearts jackpot card. Drawings for this raffle will take place on Wednesdays at 7 PM starting July 10th. tickets must be purchased either at our box office, online, or at Fire on Fifth, located in The Atrium at the Westclox Building, 300 5th St. Peru.

How it Works

​

  • When you buy your tickets, write down your name, phone number, and the number of the card you think the Queen is behind (1-54)

  • Every Wednesday at 7 PM we will draw one ticket. We then reveal what card is behind the number the winner specified.

  • If the card is the Queen of Hearts, the winner receives the jackpot! If the card is a joker, the winner receives $100. For all other cards, the winner receives $20. All winners will also receive two tickets to our next production.

  • If the Queen of Hearts is not revealed, the jackpot rolls over to the following week and all the tickets to the previous drawing are destroyed.

  • Winners must be present at the drawing to win the full prize. Winners who are not present will only receive half of their prize amount.

  • The jackpot is 70% of all proceeds, the more tickets that are sold, the bigger the pot grows!

  • Be sure to join us at Fire on Fifth every Wednesday and bring some friends!

In 1991, Jim Jewell wrote and performed his work titled Milo Lookingale, a story that highlights the struggles of dealing with the HIV/AIDS crisis. Tickets for this performance will be available starting August 26th.
